New Zealand Manuka Honey UMF20+

Manuka Honey, sourced from New Zealand, is a unique ingredient with exceptional properties. Its UMF20+ rating signifies a high level of purity and quality. This honey is produced by bees that pollinate the native Manuka bush, resulting in a product with potent antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.

Manuka Honey’s rich history dates back to ancient Egypt, where it was used for wound healing. It’s particularly effective in treating skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis, providing nourishment and rejuvenation. Additionally, its anti-aging benefits help in reducing wrinkles and preventing scars, making it a versatile component in skincare.

Antibacterial properties

Manuka honey, especially those with high UMF ratings, is known for its potent antibacterial properties. It contains a compound called methylglyoxal (MGO) that contributes to its antibacterial activity. This makes manuka honey a popular choice for wound healing and as a natural antibacterial agent.

Wound Healing

Manuka honey has been used traditionally for wound healing due to its antimicrobial properties. It can help create a protective barrier over wounds, promote tissue repair, and prevent infection.

Immune System Support

The antioxidants present in manuka honey, along with its antibacterial properties, may contribute to overall immune system support.

Digestive Health

Some people use manuka honey to support digestive health. It may help soothe the digestive tract and contribute to a healthy gut environment.

Pure New Zealand Lanolin

Pure NZ Lanolin, a refined oil derived from sheep’s wool, is a by-product of the wool industry, ensuring no harm to sheep. It has been revered since ancient Greece for its skin benefits. Unlike sheep fat, lanolin is a complex mixture of waxes that closely resembles our own skin oils. This compatibility makes it non-invasive and highly effective, even on broken or inflamed skin.|

It excels in protecting and repairing the skin’s natural barrier, deeply moisturizing the lower layers of the skin. Lanolin is particularly beneficial for individuals with chronically dry skin, dermatitis, psoriasis, or eczema, aiding in maintaining healthy and resilient skin.

Skin Moisturization

Lanolin is commonly used in skincare products such as lotions and creams due to its excellent moisturizing properties. It helps to hydrate the skin, making it smoother and softer.

Eczema and Dermatitis

The emollient properties of lanolin make it beneficial for individuals with eczema or dermatitis. It can help relieve dryness and itchiness associated with these skin conditions.

Anti-inflammatory

Its moisturizing and protective qualities can help soothe irritated skin.

Wound Healing

Some studies suggest that lanolin may have mild wound-healing properties. It forms a protective barrier on the skin, which can aid in the healing process.

Natural Vitamin E Oil

Our Natural Vitamin E Oil is derived from pure and natural sources like soy and sunflower seeds. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin found in various foods, including vegetable oils, dairy products, meat, eggs, nuts, and leafy green vegetables. In skincare, it plays a crucial role in retaining natural moisture, thus reducing skin dryness.

It also aids in repairing damaged skin and may accelerate the healing of wounds, including cracked or injured skin. As a potent antioxidant, Vitamin E Oil is beneficial in reducing UV damage to the skin and helps prevent premature ageing. Its calming properties also make it suitable for soothing itchy skin, enhancing its appeal for a range of skin conditions.

Moisturization

Vitamin E oil is known for its emollient properties, which can help moisturize and hydrate the skin. It is often used to alleviate dryness and promote soft, smooth skin.

Antioxidant Protection

As an antioxidant, vitamin E helps neutralize free radicals, which are unstable molecules that can damage skin cells. This antioxidant action may contribute to protecting the skin from environmental damage.

Wound Healing

Vitamin E is believed to support the healing process of the skin. When applied topically, it may help with the repair of damaged skin and promote the healing of minor wounds, scars, and burns.

Anti-Aging Properties

The antioxidant nature of vitamin E is thought to play a role in protecting the skin from premature aging. It may help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
